Every year Aurora Mission organizes conferences for the leaders of the Italian evangelical churches. Originally the conferences were intended to familiarize Italians with Aurora Mission and its work in Italy. However, these annual gatherings are now a vital part of the Italian Theological Academy.

General FOCUS conferences

These conferences are intended to reach all those involved with the Italian church, including church leaders, their wives, and missionaries serving in Italy. Through the teaching of John MacArthur and other speakers, many participants have been exposed to sound teaching and the expository preaching of God’s Word. These three-day conferences have become a strategic time of spiritual growth for everyone involved. Attendance continues to increase: we have gone from 247 participants at our first conference to over 500 participants at our most recent conference.

Intensive Training FOCUS Conferences

These conferences are geared specifically toward the recognized leaders of the Italian churches and are more in-depth than the general conferences. Pastors, missionaries, elders, and deacons attend the sessions desiring to be challenged to uphold a higher standard of teaching Scripture. Three courses are generally taught: one course on doctrine, one on expository preaching, and one on ministry and personal growth.

We are looking for prayer partners who would also be willing to participate financially in our annual conferences. We try to keep costs to a minimum for our participants, so the fee they pay only partially covers the cost of the conference.
