Dr. MacArthur is an acclaimed Christian Bible teacher and can be heard on “Grace to You,” an Evangelical Christian radio program that is heard around the world thousands of times each day. He also serves as Pastor of Grace Community Church and is President and Professor of Pastoral Ministries at the Master’s Seminary.
Usually our annual FOCUS Conferences are open to Italian preachers, teachers, laymen, and their wives. This year we decided to open our doors to all of you that have a heart for the true teaching of God’s Word in Italy—where only about 0.5% of the population claim to be Evangelical Christians (that’s about 338,000 people out of a population of 60 million)!

A group of folks from the U.S. were able to view first-hand our ministry to Italian pastors and their wives. During our conference we presented an Italian edition of the MacArthur Study Bible to Dr. MacArthur and each attendee.
The tour group experienced the beauty of Italy while also seeing the unfortunate confusion that has left so many souls separated from God—in what was once considered to be the hub of Christianity. They received first-hand knowledge of this beautiful country that desperately needs the truth of God’s Word—Sola Scriptura—which is Latin for “Scripture Alone”—the heartbeat of our ministry!
Every morning the group was blessed by messages from Dr. MacArthur before they branched out to tour the indescribable beauty of places like: Florence, Assisi, Rome, the Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and much more.
It is our prayer that this experience gave all involved a greater understanding of the culture and religious environment that Aurora Mission ministers in and helped many to understand (and join us in) the burden we have to share the Gospel to our precious Roman Catholic friends!
